Irish Arts of Kansas

The Kansas City Irish Cultural Society now dba as the Irish Arts of Kansas was started to help promote Irish Dance and Music, the principal components of the Irish cultural identity. It was formed in 2012 to help provide a venue for young people to learn and advance their knowledge of Irish music and dance.

 

The Irish Arts of Kansas retains a Board of Directors, five members, who give their time and receive no income. These members of the community come from a wide range of backgrounds from law, to teaching, to accounting.

 

The Irish Arts of Kansas is a registerd 501(c)(3) not for profit. Donations made to the Irish Arts of Kansas may be tax deductible. 

 

The Irish Arts of Kansas does not discriminate on the basis of age, race, religion, color, sex, national origin, marital status, genetic information, sexual orientation, gender identity and expression, disability, veteran status, pregancy status or other status protected by law.

Past Recipients

Our past recipients all had one thing in common -..their love for all things Irish! Jack Williamson, at the time a sophmore in high school, was offered the opportunity of a lifetime to study in Northern Irelad for a summer working with one of the top pipers in the world, as well as a full immersion into the Irish culture!
